COURSE OBJECTIVES
The objective of this course is to provide the student with actionable skills that will make it difficult for an
abductor to initiate an attack on the child. This course is to create peace not fear in the heart and mind of
the child concerning his environment and to provide him with skills that will allow him to notice warning
signs and changes in his surroundings that spell trouble and identify bad guy behaviour. This course will
provide the child with enough internal protective mechanisms that it will frustrate the would be abductor
making the child more effort than it is worth.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This entire course was designed from the perspective of both the child and the abductor, since these are
the only two view points that really matter. This is a proactive course that consists of comprehensive
instruction, and realistic practical application of skills learned, so the child will know when to use a
technique, why to use, how to use, and the effects it should produce.
This course is the first level of training and defense for protecting the child, its intent is to keep the bad guy
away. This course specializes in teaching children ages 8 to 12 years old and sets out to help them to
develop their sense of awareness of their surrounding environment, to help prevent stranger abduction and
other potential incidents of danger or violence, and to make the child aware of how the stranger/abductor
operates.
STUDENTS LEARN
I/ The Stranger Bad Guy
The child will learn who a stranger/ bad guy is and how he operates to deceive and trick children. The
child will learn to discern between friend and foe.
II/ Environmental Warnings
The child will learn what are some of the distant warning signs or indicators that something is wrong,
warning signs that they can identify at a distance long before a potential bad guy even has a chance to get
near them, frustrating the bad guy and forcing him to hunt elsewhere for a victim. These warnings are useful
even if the abductor is not a total stranger to the child. These indicators will scream warning to the child.
III/ Environmental Safety
The child will learn how to use his environment to protect himself from a potential abductor, and to
discourage potential attacks. The child will learn how to instinctively make note of escape routes and safe
havens in any area he visits or plays.
IV/ Environmental Dead Zones
The child will learn how to make mental notes of natural and man made areas that either obstruct clear
view or block sounds for help from being heard and instinctively avoid these areas at all cost.
V/ Bird Dogging
The child will learn the proper way of identifying to adults strangers that seem suspicious, infringe on
learned protective protocols or is making aggressive contact attempts.
Throughout the course the child learns not to be the victim and not to be afraid of adults in public; but
rather to be alert, to trust his instincts and be more confident.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This course is for all children between the ages of 8 to 12 years, both boys and girls.
COURSE DURATION
This course runs for 2 hours.
CLASS SIZE
Normal class sizes are from 10 to 20 students, but under certain situations class sizes can be much larger.
PRICE
The general cost of this course is $35 per student; however in some areas the cost may be more due to
travel and facility costs.
AWARDS
Each student who successfully completes the course will receive a Genesis-SCI Training Certificate
DRESS ATTIRE
Students should dress in comfortable clothing, either jeans or athletic gear. Please wear comfortable shoes
sneakers are preferred.
